There is no charge for using a credit card to pay a utility bill.

The night dropbox is located in the City Hall rear parking lot across from lower level entrance, next to the City of Cumming flag pole.

Credit & Debit Cards: Visit Cumming Utilities Online Payment Portal to establish Autopay. Please note the credit card service provider charges approximately 3% for this service.

Checking or Savings Accounts: Visit Cumming Utilities Auto Pay Authorization Form to establish this service. Please note there is no additional charge for this service.

Please call Cumming Utilities and provide our staff with a copy of your Drivers License to qualify for the City’s Senior Discount. must be 62 or older to apply. Our telephone number is: 770-781-2020

If your water service has been disconnected for nonpayment, please call (770) 781-2020 or come by City Hall and remit payment-in-full to re-establish service.

Once your water service has been disconnected, a reconnection fee of $40.00 will be added to your bill. In addition, if you have a returned check, a returned check fee of $25.00 will be added to your bill.

Once you have paid your water bill in-full, the City will reconnect your water service. However, the City will not reconnect your water service until the next business day.

A $125 deposit will be required. City staff will call you after you complete the on-line application process to obtain payment the deposit.

A drivers license along with a copy of your lease, rental agreement, or sales agreement will be required as proof of rental status or proof of ownership.

Do you live inside the city limits of Cumming? If so, you are eligible for City garbage pickup by Red Oak Sanitation.

Pickup day for all City of Cumming residents and businesses is FRIDAY.

Would you like to connect your home or business to the City’s Sanitary Sewer System? Is you septic tank in failure? Please call Cumming Utilities at 770-781-2020 to discuss the availability of sewer in your area.

At this point, sewer is available to a limited number of customers and may not be available in your area.

In some locations within the City’s Water and Sewer Service Area, gravity sewer may be available while in other locations a grinder pump may be required.

If the City notifies you of a leak, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND THE LEAK AND REPAIR IT. Our system is very accurate and our meters do not read high.

Water is a precious resource and water leaks must be repaired quickly.
